That would b a disaster & unfair to all junior explorers in this sector, there's only room for 1 tax.
Still early days, b4 the federal govt finalises this reform.
Given the kind of action we've seen frm overseas company plying into the resources sector in Oz, its a nifty claw back tax-slugging policy (as in, 'u bought our assets, now u've gotta pay more tax on profits etc', in simple terms).
This IMO, will scare away potential future investors, esp. when u have prospects that simply couldn't b developed by a debt-ridden or struggling-for-cash Junior player, who ends up finding a White-knight!!
