As far as the political risk goes I would say if anything its not going to be an issue, we have a small country looking to get into the EU and trying to attract jobs, this mine will lead to 500-1000 good jobs in an area with plenty of historical mining, it is very hard to see how the local gov and national gov will not bend over backwards to get this development going, the ownership structure is transparent and highly public it is not the type of thing you would mess with. Australia is more likely to change the rules on you , NZ even more so ! In the Uk I was involved in a mining project that hit a major snag which turned out to  kill the project in the end from delays when some newts were found on the site ....
