Technical Solution Consultant
(Kuala Lumpur)



Responsibilities:


Provide technical sales support through technical solution presentations, technical proposals, solutions demonstrations, proof-of-concepts or managed trials.
Responsible for all phases of implementation planning, technical discovery and project plan creation and management.
As needed, provide a "trusted expert advisor" role as a Subject Matter Expert for technical services, to both internal and external customers.
Conducts technical training of service usage and administration for all customers and users.
Lead and support local implementation, management and maintenance of Nexbis’s Data centre and Storage solution offerings including the pre-sales and the actual delivery activities.
Develops personal rapport and professional respect with field sales and professional services teams.
Prioritizes his/her time to focus on highly qualified, larger opportunities with target prospects.
Builds high quality solutions that meet client requirements and can be delivered profitably. Plan and gather information in order to define system objectives.
Delivers high quality, technical expertise in the pre-sales process to help close sales opportunities with the client.
Engages with clients facilitating workshops to jointly develop understanding of their environment, synthesizes findings, draws and presents conclusions.
Ensures technical compatibility between the client’s requirements and the products and Data centre and Storage offered by Nexbis.
Participates in project-specific technical teams.

Requirements:


Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline.
4 - 8 years in the above mentioned capacity specifically as a technical consultant or solution architect with system integration companies.
Experience in hands-on delivery of technical solution projects will be preferred.
Business Acumen with an understanding of key business processes.
Strong background in the development of technology-based business solutions.
Effective communicator; verbal, written and presentation skills creativity, flexibility and openness to alternative technical and commercial approaches to consulting work.
Strong experience in Technical Service Management/ Project Management.
Familiarity with design, system integration and planning.
Working experience in both software and hardware environments.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with supervisor and other teams.
Ability to work on multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
Hands-on administration experience with industry standard operating systems.
Strong knowledge in Network, Server, Software and Database technologies
