The quickest way is probably for the amendments to be introduced to the Senate and then added to the Reform Bill. When a bill is up for debate in the Senate amendments from all sides of government are debated and then voted on by their own merit.
The Senate will sit for three days next week where we will probably see the amendments introduced but it is more likely that the Media Reform Bill as a whole will likely be debated and voted on when the Senate sits between the 13th and 22nd of June.
If the Labor party changes its mind and backs the reforms with the new amendments then it's possible that the Bill in its entirety could be passed next week. They have stated that they need time to review the amendments in detail so not sure how long this will take them - I think the pressure coming from Ten will force them to take action sooner than later. It wouldn't look good for them if Ten folded because they opposed changes that have the backing of all the major players.
