TTH, I read the thread on QFX. Bricks and mortar being "traditional" businesses as opposed to online. So its fair to say DES has a substantial holding here. I like the strategy, I beleive eventually the QFX and MPH customer base will shift to online, but will take time, By establish a foothold in the "old" businesses, it has cash flow and the customer base to manage the transition. Similar to the online Ad company emitch when it bought the Traditional media companys from the Mitchells. ( a $900m a year cleint base).
If DES is fooling anybody its not me, their focus is on Digital business, buying traditional is not only a means to get there, including providing the cash flow to pay for it.
I like the plan, thats why I hold shares in DES as an investment, not as a speccy.
I had the same belief in emi which i bought at an average of 11 cents. (currently MCU $1.20) Lets hope I am right.
Cheers
Oscar
