I believe your comment 6. is right on the money. And this is the counter argument for anyone arguing that SP growth is likely to be limited due to the size of the existing market cap.
A2 would be able to borrow an incredible amount of money to fuel expansion if necessary. And is building a position where it could cannibalise the producers behind it.
