Howdy ewartd? Great to see Cullen back in play and the rising interest in the stock ...the Guys are back in town...
I think the extraordinary volumes traded could be due to someone taking a position in the stock. perhaps they think or know that the Lithium play could be a value target. They are putting the chips on the table. The company hasn't even got the applications thru..

The last time I've seen a similar move was in 2007 when Aquila & Co made a move to buy into Cullen to secure their WPIOP interest... they pushed SP up from 3.5c to 21c in 5 weeks... It was a lovely windfall for many LTH.. Zarzoore was on cloud nine...

Today, it is a different game... a number of major holders, Punters, have loaded up with 0.3-0.4c from previous CRs.. we talking hundreds of million shares .. so they'll cash in on the 0.5 -0.6 for a while... ( Good on them.. they've put their money where their mouths are)..

But eventually, with good news, buyers will face the average to small holders who own half the stock... We are not going to sell for few pips... and buyers will have to pay fair value... and the 1.7c to 3c call is not beyond reach..

The most important thing here, beside all this speculation.. is the trend is favourable... money is coming back into resources and prices are rising... The Chinese are on the move and a ball of money is going into commodities according to Bloomberg today..
Therefore, I am topping up when I could..
And ewartd, I think you still hold MAT... We may get a double jackpot... Wouldn't that be lovely...
