Let's not lose sight of the fact that the only reason we were profitable in the March quarter was due to receipts from copper credits . The total costs incurred including depreciation and amortisation and financial costs and exploration costs etc were over $1700/oz. Bullion receipts were around $1650 therefore from a purely accounting angle we made an accounting loss without Cu credits... this means management must do more to reduce C1 costs. They are not doing enough and any slight mishap could put us back to where we were last year. Therefore get those C1 costs down. It was a record production qtr from Deflector but not enough to erode the impact of some of those fixed costs... also we should not only be willing the dollaroo value of gold up, but also the price of copper (the saviour for March qtr profit)..I picked up another large parcel of shares today as I see both these metal's prices scaling up for different reasons..For all his appalling behaviour , Trump is a commercial egotist and will do what is necessary to make America etc etc , and that in turn will be good for Copper..on the other side inflation should increase significantly with his economic policies so we should see rising interest rates and therefore the erosion of the dollar's purchasing power = inflation and perhaps hyper inflation..it's all cyclical and we are overdue for much more inflationary pressures.
