At $1.5B MC, this is not a small cap mining stock and earnings are very important.
At current share price and gold price, forward PE for FY '17 sits at around 9 (by my calcs). So over valuation vis-a-vis peers is not a concern at this juncture. So unless something is amiss on the ground, the sell down today is possibly just good ol' profit taking. I remain long today unless something more substantive and fundamentally negative is confirmed.
