I dont know whether there is to be more or less carnage. However, as a result of the current volatility, when I say "buy at the right price" - Im loathe to pay > 7x earnings for anything except the most exceptionally rare gems.

That's the advantage of volatility... bargains should present.

The odd blue chip, believe it or not, when you dig deep may well be on sale at 1-5x earnings.. now that, with good roa and no debt, is what I consider exceptional.

So much so, that when I see such a thing, I am filled with nauseating disbelief!

..and that, is the disadvantage of volatility... the ruckus that comes with it sickens me with doubts!
