there are 4 directors in WAS from what I read in the financals, I just checked wages to 31st Dec for all directors and employees it amounts to about $136,000 between them so about $35k each if there are no other employees.
So considering that this director recently exercised 10,000,000 options,which added funds to the WAS coffers, selling a few to pay the bills isnt to abnormal.
