I know what you mean ... and the same thing can happen in reverse!
I've had my eye on a rare earths company for awhile. It was sitting on 62.5c after releasing it's maiden JORC a couple of weeks ago. The "experts" on HC were raving on about it being a "10 bagger" and upramping it shamelessly, ... it's now floundering at 41c. Not to say it hasn't got potential - it has, but to listen to these experts speak, you would've been out ordering your Bugatti Veyron next month!
