"Delusional optimism" I love it, can't say I've been buying lately, unfortunately I get the feeling the coal price could go lower and the SP with it. However, as other energy sources become dearer due to extraction and transport costs or black swan event/s and the supply side dries up due to mine closures, bankruptcies and inability to reduce production and or costs quickly BGG will come into it's own. I see nothing wrong with the business model and will purchase some more in due course.

I do not mind what the company is proposing, now is the right time to procure additional assets at knock down prices, NST have made it into an art form. They are still turning a profit, unlike some of the larger coal companies in China.

One thing for sure, the Directors of this company have a lot of skin in the game, and like us have suffered a substantial reduction in the value of their investment, IMO they will be working very, very hard to turn that around as quickly as possible. Of course only so much they can control in the current situation.

    All the best Penrice
