I agree these movements will have no effect on long term holders. But what concerns me is possible manipulation. The market had plenty of time to digest the announcement yesterday and sell stock then if they did not like it. Instead we get the stock driven hard up one day and then driven hard down the next day. This looks suspect.
They say Singapore is home for the hedge funds that have caused so much havoc on our small caps through share lending and shorting practices. I'm beginning to wonder if the abs shares in Singapore are being loaned to hedge funds there? I'm also wondering if the share lenders are lending more than just shares to the hedgefunds? Maybe some inside info too?
