NXS told the ASX on the 24 September that 26.8 million shares in AZA were bought on market at an average price of $1.69 . The off market portion of 13,561,265 shares in a share swap appears to have cost the equivilent of $1.65 per share .
On the 3 October a further 20.29 million shares were bought in AZA lifting the stake to 16.39 %.
the shareprice between September and October 2007 was not below $1.50 .
Today the language that is used in the presentation appears to claiming that the AZA shares "cost" 1.20 .
Misleading language .
NXS have lost significant money (at least on paper) in the value of the NXS shares they bought according to their 2007 disclosures, and their presentation today does not definatively state what those shares "cost" but represents the value they are now worth .
Spin or an honest misuse of language ?
