Kalia Investments and its Joint venture Partners will start making some physical work starting next week.
This was announced by the Managing Director of KALIA INVESTMENTS and its partners at a meeting with landowners at HAHON PRIMARY SCHOOL today.
Managing Director, TERRY LARKEN said that their company Helicopter which will help with mapping the area and supporting the work of Geologists on the ground will arrive next week.
MR. LARKEN said there will be awareness carried out to make sure all landowners know what is happening so that they can support the project.
He thanked the chiefs of Hahon and Tinputz and Kunua for allowing them to start the exploration work in their area.
The Managing Director said that Bougainville government has its own mining law and minerals department which his company will be working with to make sure everything is done according to the mining act of Bougainville.
