There has been a lot of talk about the JORC concept and the ASX. Someone on the CDU web site commented that a lot of mines are mining more than 100% above their JORC grade.
Someday someone will put this code under the microscope to find out if it has been mickey finned.
The MMW directors have commented on the low grades the JORC has showed up.
A combination of this supposedly (possibly suspect) scientific method of evaluation and short selling especially during the last year where shorting is possibly the only way to make money results in a very difficult time for legitimate explorers to succeed.
I came under criticism from a moderator the other day accusing me of not having an accurate view of history and trying to point the bone at certain people. I do not give a stuff, about that accusation as I have a view of honesty and integrity and if people step outside of that arena they need to be identified and not have protection they do not deserve. The end result of that, was a letter to ASIO as when manipulation within the ASX results in a foreign takeover, then the comments and I will use the USA's oath, "All enemies external and internal" comes into play. Unfortunately even this web site is not immune to that quote and moderators need to be mindful of that concept. Protecting protected species can result in the protector being under the microscope.
Getting back to MMW this takeover move is the end result of a JORC which may or may not be accurate and constant short selling.
All shareholders of MMW are losing as a result.
The sooner the JORC code is put under the microscope the better. How is it that many companies are mining 100% above the JORC code? That is not an error it is a blunt mistake.
I suspect that MMW's mineralisation is possibly one of those the JORC code does not treat well. Now I am not saying this is correct but what a perfect way to manipulate a market than to write a code that deliberately down plays a mineral deposit, over time short the stock and eventually take the company over. Game set and match.
If you think this concept has never been done before, try "it is more difficult for the rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven than the camel to go through the eye of the needle." That gem was slipped into the New Testament, in around the year 312 at the Council of Nicaea. That resulted in non Christian management of the money in Europe and all the horrendous backlashes to it. Anyone who believes that JC actually used those words is in club cookoo land.
The worst thing about this is if management believes the JORC is not accurate they are not allowed by the rules of the ASX to express their views to the shareholders.
If this is a dud deposit which the JORC suggests (backed up by short selling) then why is this company taking us over in a share exchange to a company we know little about.
Tread wearily guys
