AXP management has never been good at communicating with...

AXP management has never been good at communicating with shareholders, well retail shareholders certainly. In the early days AXP had a newsletter but it was discontinued a year or so ago; probably when they cut staff numbers (remember the highpoint in terms of staff was headcount of 128).

I have wondered whether this lack of communication is a function of US listing/communication rules; or given the precarious position of the company whether, in the potential event that the company cannot get funding in the future, management is worried about a class action on the grounds of ramping.

It should be recognised that communication with shareholders is not necessary if performance is in line with previously set expectations; so no news can be seen as good news as well. Having said that I would love AXP Management to have come out and said that "unit sales for the October and November months have exceeded expectations, highest recorded so far...)" or some such!!! 

Finally for my sins, I also invested in Fluence Corp (FLC). Since their last 4C FLC has announced 4 new projects (revenue in the $10's of millions), a successful cap raise and a new BOOT finance facility. SP on 25 Oct was 46.5 cents; today 35 cents! This raises the question whether you can fight the market, which has gone to sheet in the last month!
