“Unfortuntely, as they can't dig it up for less than what they sell it for, none of that means much as Anglo illIstrated by letting It go”
Agreed for what AngloAshanti put up it wasn’t worth it, 110 ounces at cost to mine at $1300/ounce.
So what chance has WAF got with 150 ounces at today’s price of $1300/ounce? Buckley’s. Then add $200M at 7.75% debt burden? 15.5M per year in interest payments. High risk to get dumped soon while management are just dragging this out to collect salaries.
Now compare VEC with 320,000 ounces quite likely over 20yrs mine life. Cost per tonne should be around $1000/ounce approx. also likely with smaller debt. No brainer when you do comparisons between these 2 VEC is looking more likely to proceed and make profit let a,one SP growth clearly a bigger stand out!
I realise it’s a tough pill to swallow but when it comes to investing your cash more information is valuable.
