    Actually those figures are not correct that is AngloAshanti plans, that is not what VEC has planned. For starters they already have 3.2Moz so over a 10yr mine life that’s 320,000 ounces! Now add the expected upgrade of between 12Moz to 25Moz targeted on the actual same lease. Half a result there will double or triple the total resource. Let’s not get into the other juicy leases they own!

    So a 300,000 ounce per year operation over 20 yrs looks very achievable and highly economical. There’s another comparison right there as well as debt pay down capacity. Alternatively 500,000 ounces over 10 yrs while exploring and expanding in parallel? The beauty too is having previous drilling date for 150,000m+ to analyse making resource upgrading cheap as chips. One more comparison to consider.
