high estimate (current RSG projection) is about 355kt at reserve grade of 2.7g/t is 958,500 grams of gold in the ore or 958,500g /31.1g/oz = 30,819ozs. At 75% recovery that's 23,114ozs at 85% it's 26,196ozs.
What did I say?
"we should expect gold mined at Syama UG of 31,819 ozs. Factoring in improving recoveries of say 75-85% that is a range of between 21,196ozs and 23,114ozs at the reserve grade of 2.7g/t (forget about the other rubbish estimates that have been plucked out of thin air)."
OK my error (errors) thanks.
So let's upgrade that range to 75,251 to 78,333 ozs for Q3.
This is a not too unrealistic expectation IMO if the UG mine ramps to expectations during the quarter and most of the ore this quarter was sourced from the new Tabakoroni pit. If this quarters oxide result incorporates production from another pit that is being terminated in the march quarter maybe the above numbers might be an overcall.
It's good to have some benchmarks to measure performance by. The actual quarterly might help shed better light, but for now that's my personal expectation.Esh
