Sorry I don't understand the gist of your comment? My example is to give people an idea of the amount of rock this company has moved so far and the enormity of the task.
Of course we are using specialised trucks to haul the material to the surface. The trucks will be smaller than the example shown and eventually fully automated and eventually probably electric as well to reduce costs even further. Electric trucks have the advantage of not producing fumes that need to be exhausted from the mine using fans so when this mine gets deep we will still be mining this ore. A lot of the capital and operating costs of deep mines come from the need for ventilation and the cost of hauling the ore to the surface.
You've just got to look at the extreme lengths SBM may be going to at Gwalia to understand. SBM's Mass Extraction Project (in feasibilty stage) is talking about placing mine infrastructure deep UG to grind the ore down and then using two very deep vertical slurry pipes to use mine waters to pump the ore to the surface. Good luck with that plan. Syama when working to plan has the advantage that the orebody has very considerable strike extent so we aren't forced to great depths quickly. Our autonomous haulage trucks will be quietly collecting ore from our autonomous boggers, where one operator in a remote location will be overseeing the operation of two ore three of these maxhines inbetween eating his or her lunch and checking his or her facebook updates. Get with the program buddy this is a technological cutting edge mine that will run on auto-pilot making us all money for decades IMO, the days of wheelbarrows are over. The laggards in the industry will look like they are using wheeelbarows after this mine sets the new standard. Others will be trying to play catch up if they can.
Just reading your post again I see it's tongue in cheek, next time use lol to save me having to bang out three paragraphs. Esh
