For what its worth (and while sellers frantically get rid of their NMR shares!), it seems there is a bit more on the Botswana power front / rumour mill.

Not sure if the source can be trusted - but came across this one the other day.

I will continue to hold NMR - and try and grab any spares by whatever way I can!

Will be a bit distracted from PC/research next couple of weeks - so thanks to all for posting their findings - it is of great interest!

Botswana announces plans for additional energy generation

Botswana has announced plans to construct additional power plants that could boost the country’s power generation capacity by around 1200MW.

Senior officials from the Botswana government have announced that the new power plants would be constructed by independent power producers who will receive assistance from the government. Construction is already underway for the 600MW Morupule B power station which is expected to be commissioned in 2012.

The new plans call for construction of two more power plants – one brownfield and one greenfield – with power generation capacities of 150MW each. The brownfield plant is expected to come online by 2015/16 while the Greenfield plant is expected to commence production in 2017/18.
