As stated yesterday a cross trade of 450,000 Mermaid Marine Australia shares when through the system
Today I noticed a similar volume of short selling went through yesterday of the stock
The theory with short selling is that you borrow stock that you do not own from a broker and buy it back later at a lower price. The profit is made from the difference in what you shorted it t and then later bought (longed) it back at it
Unfortunately someone out there has got it all wrong
Why would you short a stock which is only going up
Does not make sense to me
