Every time I read an anti-algo tirade I hear plenty of Bogeyman stuff, but few actual examples of how algo's are definitively bad. I am making my way through the articles to see if I care about these naughty algorithms.
I don't have a philosophical problem with algos hunting out obvious stop losses. It sucks never being able to cream the premium in an illiquid ETF trade because you will never be top of the stack, but it does not seem illegal.
