Haha I have been lurking here for longer than you both so given some of his other efforts I thought he was quite charming! Yes the age old argument about the validity of TA - we will save it for another day. I suppose a large part of it is whether you believe the market is completely free from insider trading and manipulation. If you believe price discovery is a pure and non artificial process resulting from the market responding to information, then TA is useless. If, on the other hand, you are a bit cynical like myself and believe that manipulation and insider trading occurs frequently at this end of the market then perhaps it bears more weight. Also the delay has not been explained - and despite any rhetoric from holders or the company - the true story will not be revealed until the results are.
