Bothersome thoughts on nti, page-64

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear - I'll try again. I hold and have held since basically the listing. I have also lurked on this forum for the same amount of time. Despite the fall in share price I am not concerned as the market cap is currently so low (basically at shell as I mentioned) that imo there is very limited downside from here even if the results are a complete failure. We can all speculate but at the end of the day none of us know what the results are - I have seen (as I'm sure you have as well) these plays go both ways. However right now do you honestly think this is trading like a company that is just about to release a company making announcement? In my experience there is usually a run up in price prior to such an announcement as anticipation builds and "smart money" buy in - something that you have referenced yourself in previous posts. While there are always exceptions the fact that the opposite is occurring here imo speaks volumes for the short term prospects. I personally think it is an adjustment by the market to the fact that it now appears results could be further away than we all thought, and holding represents a significant opportunity cost (mixed in with tax loss selling). This is because, as a few people have mentioned, volume is too low to indicate a leak - however I'm not naive enough to rule out the alternative of there being poor results on the horizon. If somebody wanted to unwind a large position, they couldn't dump it even if they wanted to because there isn't enough buy depth. Our hypothetical seller would also not want to raise a red flag to the market or the ASX, so would likely unwind said position over an extended period. Anyway - all the best, we will wait and see.
