I would add that the part I've put in italics would make the treatment as described very difficult to implement with a subject with any but the mildest degree of ASD. Good luck with "watch the squiggly lines and see if you can change them to look more like these other squiggly lines by playing with these knobs to make different sounds"!

Exactly! It doesn't matter what anybody says or believes about the product at this point. An independent, prospective, double-blind clinical trial has been completed. Nobody's position on the product makes the slightest difference to what the results will be when they are released.
