Didn't I just give an example of someone stamping on good news?
... and while I wouldn't say for certain that the exercise was an inside job, the Motley Knave certainly knew which panic buttons to push, and there does appear to be a company policy to sit hard on the share price.
A NSW sociologist once said that while the NSW Police Force was a necessary evil, sometimes it was more evil than necessary, but I suspect that the brokers are to a large extent an unnecessary evil, and often more evil than necessary.
Misinformation and disinformation - and I detailed one example for BOT - appear to be the name of the game; the world "presstitutes" did not arise by accident, and it would be nice if the ASX put its house in order before someone else (AFP?) does it for them.
How about a royal commission?
