This novice can only suggest from observation that the program works to keep the "last sale price" down (if they are buying).. By dropping a small number of shares..once enough sellers have placed their sells, from off the "last sale price" they buy them up.. Rather than buying up the price, if that makes sense..
But I really have no idea..
