Boral CEO has already mentioned a housing construction downturn in Oz will have minimal impact on profitability as it is being offset by the massive Govt infrastructure projects in NSW and Victoria. Also the AUD has depreciated against the USD which will mean greater profit out of North America. Also we need to be looking at house construction no’s, not house prices as Boral is not in the RE sales business.
