Hi Northeasttrader,

My accountant talked me into buying into BOQ nearly five years ago to the day at a similar price too ($10.83) for that very reason. My accountant was very confident BOQ was a takeover target of one of the big four, or a potential merger with another regional to compete with the big four.

So, five years on I am still waiting for the takeover/merger. But, I'm not complaining as BOQ has been paying consistent dividends along the way of around 7%. So I am way in front even without the capital growth to now.

In summary, you have a very valid point and I agree with your comments.
