It bewilders me how an organisation "a specialist in its field" proposes import terminals as a solution when a grid of pipelines across Aust. would deliver more gas than we need & ensure commercial competition to keep prices lower.

What is the real justification for import terminals - is it commercial interests promoting otherwise, perhaps it is Govt. perceived idealism, possibly led by lobby groups or otherwise - I'd love to know who is pushing the buttons & why?

How do international companies gain rights over land and choose not to actively develop them - I'd expect they prioritise globally & allocate funds where the numbers stack up - something needs to give to dissolve this type of land banking when the economy is being compromised!

All the stars point to GAS being the transitional fuel for many decades to come.
