In 2008 there was a ferry disaster in the Philippines that capsized in a typhoon killing 800. The month of August is the worst month for typhoons. It drops off significantly in in Oct, but powerful typhoons still occur in Dec.

Basically it would be careless and reckless to start drilling now and expose workers to foreseeable danger. Let's say they need 8 weeks from finance approval to commencement of drilling. That should mean anytime now and the next 4 weeks.

The bit about PKO directors being in Malaysia is probably a red herring. They are overseas but I'd say they could be in Manila or Singapore finalising the Cadloe agreement.

Its hard to by volumes of shares now. Hence I had to pay extra yesterday.
