I wanted to use the word scam with a question mark in the title but as what you'll read here is just a warm up, figure I'd better take particular care with words, for a peasant that is.
This week I'm flat out with other matters but promise I'll get back soon enough with a bit of an expose (intended also to be sent to the odd association, department & politician; I really despise the corporate inability to talk straight with shareholders) on what is
in my opinion an opportunistic grab for bonuses masked by fine words.
For example, the options are 'to motivate senior management & directors to achieve performance targets' and 'reward for past performance'. In relation to the latter the sp is what? Revenue dropped by um, 91%? Etc..
For now I urge you to:
-tick 'no' for this scheme, or at least hold until I've said the rest then decide if the scheme is in the spirit of what ESOP's are intended for or is as I believe. And pass this message on to any part owners of Analytica you might know.
-remind yourselves how few 'ordinary' workers like admin, r&d. compared to the 7 senior management and directors are employed, and get a grasp of the total 'employee' cost as a % of all expenses.
- assert yourselves and email the board, along the lines of 'Dear Board, if any of you need motivation - piss off; 'cause we definitely don't need any of you. And by the way, what are your respective performance targets again!'
Talk soon my fellow analyticamedical owners
