Vodafone Hutchison Australia chief marketing officer Kim Clarke is leaving the telco after playing a critical role in helping Vodafone salvage its reputation in the market.
Ms Clarke, who was for a time tipped as a possible replacement for Bill Morrow at Vodafone, leaves the carrier after a two year tenure.
Vodafone Australia’s chief executive Iñaki Berroeta said that Ms Clarke had been instrumental in devising Vodafone’s $5 international roaming initiative and building greater awareness around the carrier’s evolving 4G network.
“Kim’s passion and drive have been an inspiration to many who have worked with her and she leaves behind a great legacy and a fantastic team,” Mr Berroeta said.
Ms Clarke said that it was time for her to take on new challenges.
“Over the past two years I’ve been fortunate enough to be part of this business turnaround,” she said.
“We have achieved great leaps forward in our commercial results, the quality of the service we deliver to customers and most importantly in how our customers feel about us.”
