Channel 9 just had a news report on BNC210, with the topic being related to dementia and agitation in elderly patients.

It outlined the mechanism of action on the brain, and how it could be a better alternative to anti-psychotics and benzodiazepines. The side effect profile (no sedation, addiction and disorientation etc), and how it could help elderly patients from falling over etc.

It also presented a patient who is on the trial, whose wife believes he did not get the placebo due to how he is responding. A lot calmer and that sort of thing. It's main focus was relating to agitation and dementia.

BNC210 was shown in a vial, and gives me hope that this sort of result (hopefully he did get BNC210) could be effective in the upcoming PTSD trial. Even though the risk is high, if we get negative data on the PTSD trial, hopefully it will come good for the other trials.

Good stuff, not long to wait on the data readout.
