Well gingerbeer, to be honest I have to say whats happening out in Africa is really out of BMLs hands. I have just got back from bots and I can't access hotcopper regularly so I'm not sure whats been posted or not - I think walter is informed but if I repeat whats been stated cut me some slack !
The issue is between Norilsk Nickel and BCL over the Nkomati mine deal which was struck a couple of years ago . There is big money at risk here ! I thought the Bots government was pre-empting a liquidation problem from another company to do with intellectual rights regarding a recovery process but this is small bickies ( @ Pula 750 million ) compared to whats on the current legal table !
Last Monday morning I picked up a copy of Mmegi and what jumps out at me is Norilsk have filed an order ( legals plz fill in correct wordings- bt jet lagged) in London as well as the legal process which is happening in Botswana's High Court and it would seem the appointed liquidator is hamstrung ( currently ) also meaning this appears this is going to be one hell of a drawn out procedure !
Guess I am saying these things happen which have nothing to do with BML and there is not much BML can do about it either other than try to stay a float !!
