The following is an update based on information from the Commonwealth Courts Portal https://www.comcourts.gov.au/file/Federal/P/NSD379/2012/actions
Orders were made yesterday that the matter be provisionally set down for hearing before the Full court. No later than 5pm on Wednesday 25th the respondents serve written submissions (looks like some may not get ANZAC Day) and the appellants serve submissions in reply by Saturday 28th (and others don't get a weekend).
The proceeding is listed for directions on 27th and a Full Court Hearing on 30th April and 1st May. If this is to hear the actual appeal, then it may be decided before 15 May as to whether the orginal orders winding up BMG will be confirmed or overturned. I orginally didn't think this would happen but it now looks like a possibility.
There seems to be some real urgency on this matter to have parties serving documents on ANZAC Day and the weekend. We'll have to keep watching to see to actually happens. While there is some uncertainty as to what will happen, it doesn't seem like long before we will know.
