Hi Cazzex sorry I only just saw your post today, I haven't looked in on BUE since the big news. Whilst it is sad for staff that the Directors and Management have "killed" this off it is karma biting them on the backside. Like you say "if its not broke then don't try and fix it". Their model was always flawed, you cant go in and buy business at ridiculous rates then get paid 90+ days to boot in an industry where the company pays every 7 days for its "goods" being temp wages. What surprised me Cazzex was why that other company came in and bought everything up. Even if they got it for nothing why would you buy the contracts BUE had, they were loss making.!!! Would'nt surprise me if the new company gets into difficulty! Anyway the people I had my grievance's with have now long gone and the 2 directors I knew have got their just deserts I say for allowing this to happen. This saga which commenced in 2007 should be held up as a case study in Universities on how to f..k up a company by takeovers, buyouts, debtor control, creditor control, HR principles, remuneration policies, loss making contracts, cash flow etc etc
Thanks for asking re mum mate - old age is a bad thing but its inevitable, dementia is even worse, to not know who your loved ones are any more is terrible and very sad.
