First half result should be interesting and I suspect will see a good cash balance. Not sure what a good first half and plenty of cash on hand would mean given the oil price atm. I agree that this "bushfire"could have a dramatic impact on the other two major players and possibly leave MCE in a very strong position once the smoke clears. I concede it's not for the faint hearted but as they say fortune favours the brave.
