Christique, I love your sentiment. The shared blessings for "those in need" could not be more expressed than for the wonderful people of the Philippines, who will benefit from the success of such projects.

This is a resource-rich nation whose wealth and opportunity has been squandered by successive corrupt and incompetent regimes. The result is abject poverty and hopelessness for many.

I believe they are finally turning the corner. For the Australian Government to pigeon-hole the Philippines as a "basket case" is such folly. Investors are increasingly looking to Africa. Yet so close to our doorstep is a welcoming country, with skilled, industrious and warm hearted people, and whose potential is untapped.
