In April 2018 Antpool a BItmain controlled miner announced that it would destroy 12% of all bch mining rewards .The only reason to do this would be to hold up the value of the remaining bch but it is obvious from the above graph that it failed . Tether has recently done the same thing and it seems at the moment to have been more successful
