    My broker isn't allowing trading on bitcoin futures yet so can't compare

    Exchange wants about 30% of the face value from memory. So say with bitcoin @ $11000 and the contract is 5 bitcoins the face value is $55k. You can see IB are putting in a decent clip on the exchange margin as they see the risk
