I lived through both in the high tech software world so to me 2000 wasn’t so bad. My company went and added .com and our stock quadrupled to $55.00 USD, but we had nothing of substance behind it, neither did many others.

Whereas the 1993 timeframe was when Jeffry Balmers mother (Bill Gates partner) was the one who asked why would anyone want a computer in your home.

So for me the 93 era is much more like the bitcoin / crypto era we are in today versus the 2000 dot com era, where nothing really existed except for a few Supply Chain companies.

Whereas block chain is here and now and the applications are HUGE. This willl be a field to get into, so if any of you or your kids are technically savvy my advise would be to get educated in blockchain technology as you’ll be in huge demand for jobs
