I hold RIV and am looking at buying more, I believe in its future, although I have watched it fall from high $11's in July 08. Not sure if it is the standout coal stock although it has plenty of potential.
I also like and own New Hope Coal (NHC). After sale of mine to BHP has over 2 billion in the bank, heaps of land for future development, and is currently producing. Approx $.70/share dividend coming in September on share value $3.80 at present, close to 20% return which I don't think is factored into share price at present.
