Thankyou NoBoDe for those amazing photographs - I do love birds, too, watch them in my backyard, feed them at times, but the best IMO are the majestic Pelicans around Mandurah and going along the cost south on sees them near estuaries. They remind me of something very ancient - their 'look' is definitely archaiic.

The structure in the first pic. top right hand corner, is 2.4 kms away, across the Peel Inlet.
