    They are great to see. There use to be a pair that flew the skies around my place for years. Eventually I found where they were nesting and it was miles away, probably 5 klm as the crow flies. Found the nest by accident really.
    Since I said there were lots of wedgetails around here I have talked to other people and now I believe they are not wedgetails but a hawk of some kind. They are smaller but have the same tail and colouring and go after the mice and other small rodents.
    No shortage of hairs, mice and rats around this area for them to feed on.

    I still see some wedgetails around from time to time but they usually fly much higher. I often pull off the side of the road to watch them when I see them.
