I am unconvinced about the residual value in the assets.

They have had such limited commercial interest in any of the "pipeline" drugs that I just question whether they actually have any worth.

I guess that they could prove me wrong, but the cash will likely run out before they can get a deal.

Merck is the only one with and interest and my bet is that they will buy all of the assets out of receivership for a song.

They do not need to bid for the company nor pay a premium in the absence of any other buyers.

I guess we will just have to wait and see.........
