Like Jim, I'm also not Warren Buffet. Also like Jim, I recently took some profits off the table with NEA by selling down half my holdings and did so for similar reasons (price too high, uncertain global economic outlook.) The only difference between me and Jim was I took my profits off the table exactly a year ago today, before the announcement, when the price had skyrocketed to 0.85 cents. Dumbest thing I ever did, my wife told me the other day. She also said the smartest thing I ever did was hold onto the other half. I will continue to hold them now, though thick and thin. I'd rather risk a GFC than risk my marriage.
